Kelly Library Oscars Contest

Academy Awards display on the Kelly Library ground floor.

Oscars season. Guessing the Academy Award-winners–whether for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, or Best Screenplay–is an annual mid-winter thrill. This year, play your cards (actually, your ballot) right and you could win a $50 iTunes gift card or a basket full of snacks.

How does the contest work? Grab a ballot by the Kelly Library ground floor book display and make your best guess on who will win in each category. Students, staff, and faculty are warmly encouraged to take part.

Need inspiration? Look no further than the ground floor display, which showcases Oscar winners from previous years.

The Oscars air Sunday, February 9th, so ballots must be in by 11:30pm on Saturday, February 8th.

Library Technician Sarah Stiller will tally the ballots Monday February 10th. Participants with the most correct guesses will win, though in the event of a tie, Sarah will choose the victor from a random draw.
