Every fall, the Friends of the Kelly Library hosts its annual book sale at the John M. Kelly Library. In support of its mission to support the initiatives and student spaces within the Kelly Library, the Friends’ annual book sale draws hundreds of people to sort through its impressive collection of gently-used materials. The funds raised through this sale ensure that the John M. Kelly Library can continue to be the center of academic life on the St. Michael’s College campus.
The sale includes a collection of special and general materials divided into academic and popular categories.

Please do not leave boxes outside, or in any other part of the College, as they will not be secure.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following items:
- Musty or moldy books or those with broken bindings or damaged covers
- Magazines or journals
- Textbooks more than five years old
- Reader’s Digest condensed books

If you are interested in volunteering for the book sale, we are very much interested in hearing from you! Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We regularly look for volunteers to help us sort books prior to the sale, to pick up book donations from local donors, and to assist with all aspects of the sale itself.
